I love Swingles! They're always so friendly, the food is great, and I've not had a bad experience yet!
We love eating at local places when travelling. Swingles is in an old stone building in the center of town. It's a homey little place with wooden floors, an oddball assortment of razorback memorabilia, rocky linoleum tables, and an assortment of coffee mugs that look like they came from every thrift shop in a 25-mile radius. They do breakfast all day and that's what we ordered for lunch. I had a Denver omelette that was loaded. It came with perfectly cooked hash browns and a huge biscuit smothered in sausage gravy. The biscuits are made fresh daily, so when they run out you get toast instead. Neither my husband or I could finish it all. The burgers looked great. Prices were very good. I recommend you get off the highway, drive a block into town, and give this place a try.

Cozy family diner. We had breakfast. I had the Big Country. It had eggs, Bacon, sausage, and ham, and came with hash browns and toast or biscuits & gravy. The 2 egg w/ bacon or sausage was 50 cents more, so I got the extra meat. It was tasty. The others in my party had hog trough omlets and enjoyed those as well. The waitress was friendly and just attentive enough. The coffee was good and kept refilled.
